Youth Support Coordinator (YSC)

The YSC Program funded by Qld Department of Communities, works with young people in high schools, their families, schools and TAFE communities. Doing well at school is tough when you are facing challenges. YSC is here to help out with everything from family relationships to personal issues and relationships with your school and yours and others culture just to name a few.

We help you out by offering practical, individual and family support as well as assistance and advocacy to access services and resources in the community, group work and community education.

YSCs work alongside schools and the broader community to develop awareness of issues affecting young people, particularly activities to support their attendance at school. At the moment we offer our services to students at Kingaroy SHS, Proston SS, Wondai SS, Murgon SHS, YACCA- Murgon, Nanango SHS, Second Chance- Nanango, Yarraman SS, Goomeri SS, South Burnett Catholic College, TAFE (students under 18) and their families.
