Funded by Queensland Department of Education and the Arts the Young Mums Program provides support education and social networks to young mothers up to 25 years through a range of activities.

Both Kingaroy and Murgon offer activities that programs that are designed to promote bonding with bub and meeting with others who are in similar situations.

At Kingaroy some of the activities included are::

• Scrapbooking,
• Art and craft,
• Mum and bub swimming
• Baby massage
• Cooking and nurtrition for pregnancy and mum and bub

And at Murgon you can get involved in:

• TAFE modules in Childrens Services
• they participate in a parenting program
• playgroup

Kingaroy offers support to girls aged 15-25 and meet every Wednesday at the Youth Park from 10am-2pm with lunch provided. While Murgon offers the program to girls aged 15-17years and meet three times a week.
